Just a question I want to throw out there.

What if you find out your permit was approved and sent out, but you need to travel out of state before you actually recieve it.

Would or could you carry on your trip?

If caught, would it be a big deal if you don't have your pink slip, or could LEO check with IN to see if legal?

Just thinking about what I'm going to do if we don't recieve them, but find out approved, before we leave for Thanksgiving trip.

    Thanks for all input.

In Indiana, you must have your LTCH with you when you carry. I can't imagine it would be different if you left the state.

Well we have made the trip many times in the past without carrying anything. What's 1 more time, wouldn't want to risk getting them revoked, before even recieving them. Worst case scenario would be that they are here waiting on us when we get home.:):

Well, no, worst case scenario (regarding the license itself) is that it got lost in the mail and you have to spend a bit of money for a duplicate.

Well we can put this baby to bed. I've waited this long and I'm not going to do anything to risk it now. I'll keep all up to date on what happens.

Thanks again Scutter01 and IndyJoe. You guys have put alot of good info out there for all of us.
