    I like checking this thread to see what you've been posting. And Hiatt is one of my favorite singer/songwriters (He's from Indy you know). I try and see him whenever he comes to town, especially when he's with Lyle Lovett
    There is so much good music out there. Average person only picks on 15% of it. Here's a good example.

    Nice! My knowledge of Deep Purple has always been limited pretty much to "Smoke on the Water" (as any kid that ever picked up a guitar tried to play). :): I'm sure I've missed out on a lot of good stuff from the past just by relying on what got air play.

    A lot of people don't realize that they've heard Hiatt songs because his covers have gotten more publicity than his originals. For exmple, this one, which became the theme song to the movie "Michael" (where John Travolta is an angel) done by Don Henley.
