hahahaI named mine INS back in the day... I always wondered if my illegal neighbors enjoyed my humor.
You all have made me realize how un-creative I am.

Back in my war driving days networks with names like that were always the first to get targeted.
Back when I messed around with this stuff, I had one network called "Virus scan test box."
Router? I Barely Knew Her.
Your access point / router is likely configurable. Mine allows for a guest network (see above). It CAN be an open network (mine is not), and you can also throttle it (I limit guests to a few Mbps - no streaming, but fine for email/FB). It can also be segmented off of your primary network (guests can't see your stuff). Then, turn on logging and see what your neighbors are doing when connected to you.I wish I knew how to A) secure MY stuff so I could B) have an open WiFi signal and see what people were surfing for online.

I also have ATT, so yes, it does.I understand that those words are in English and arranged in sentences.
Actually, I'm not quite THAT ignorant. But close. We have UVerse. I'm not sure if it allows for a guest network.

Back in the day you could fire up "kismet" in Linux and see what everyone on an open WiFi was doing. And if they had wep. You could crack it with "spoon wep" then add the key to kismet and see what they were doing too.
But now with wpa and encryption it's a bit harder.
Opening your WiFi won't really get you much. But if you have lots of unsecured networks near you fire up kismet and see what they are doing.
Or the next time you are at an hotel. Connect to the network and fore up "Wireshark" that may yield you a little traffic that is interesting.... But Everytime I watched hotel traffic it was mostly just porn.
