I have these same coils. I rebuild them every time it needs it. I've got it down to about 3-4 min per coil. I use 32ga Kanthal wire and unbleached cotton for the wick.
Most of the time, I just take the wick out, burn the coil a few times to get anything nasty off of it and put a new wick in.
It couldn't be simpler. compared to around $2 per coil, rebuilding takes just a few cents.
Agreed, the EVODS are very easy to rebuild. For around $4.00 I got enough wick and wire to rebuild about 60-75 times. Sure beats the $3.00 each I was paying to replace them.
