I’ve read here on INGO that covid is over. Everyone is wanting to move on. That’s BS. You cannot comply your way out of tyranny.
Politely tell him "Either me or the masks.". He can continue to push the BS policy, but you'll take your money elsewhere.Apparently IU Health has dropped their mask mandate. DoggyMama has called them a few times and it's part of their recorded message. Wish my doctor's office would drop it. I may ask him about it at my next appointment (next week).
I've been with him for almost 40 years. I'd really prefer not to change. We've had the vax discussion and he has noted in my record that I'm done with them (Covid vax or boosters).Politely tell him "Either me or the masks.". Not that he will change just for you, but when you leave, he will know why.
What would he do if you simply walked in without one? R3fuse to see a long time patient?I've been with him for almost 40 years. I'd really prefer not to change. We've had the vax discussion and he has noted in my record that I'm done with them (Covid vax or boosters).
Don't really know, since the gals at the front desk are the ones to enforce it. Their recorded message states that we will be expected to wear one. What would he do if you simply walked in without one? R3fuse to see a long time patient?
I called the bluff on all of my Drs. I haven't been back to see my ENT since 2020 because the lady making appts wouldn't make one for me without a mask on. I plan to go back this year, and let him know why I was gone so long. The whole visit no one said a word, until I was about to walk out the door.Don't really know, since the gals at the front desk are the ones to enforce it. I had to do the occasional mask, hand sanitizing and social distancing before the Covid. It sounds like he was being cautious. My old dentist was still going through the motions* well after it calmed down, but before he retired. But I cut him some slack. He's older and had an organ transplant that severely reduced his immune system. He had an excuse. The rest? Not so much.
*masking, waiting in your car until it was your turn, hand sanitizer when you got in, etc.
One of the places I will never set foot in again.I made a mask out of blueberry netting and wore it to Menards once. Got some nasty stares. Hey, it’s a mask!
How do they clean your teeth while you have a mask on? Also, if you remove it for the cleaning, is the dentist confident that you are not spreading covid and not harming anyone? My old dentist was still going through the motions* well after it calmed down, but before he retired. i ask my dentist why he was willing to risk exposure while his face was less than a foot from my face, but insisted i wear a mask when he was 6 feet or more away from me. He left the room and came back in about 10 minutes and said “you’re right” and said he would not require masks.
Because some people clung to the droplet nonsense.I don't understand people who don't recognize that masking was nothing but the government exerting control. It had nothing to do with health or safety. How can walking into a restaurant with a mask on, then not needing the mask when you're at the table stop transmission of an airborne virus? Just absolutely goes to show that people are no longer taught to think critically or logically any more.
Because some people clung to the droplet nonsense.
there are still people that believe the vax stops transmission.... and they're vaxed, boosted and caught it 3 times.Which was fine for about 3 months when we thought the virus was passed via bodily fluids, but once we knew it was airborne the droplet nonsense was just that, nonsense.
From a family members situation....the staff seems to get agitated and issue directives when there's not compliance to what they've been told. Mainly younger front desk workers. What would he do if you simply walked in without one? R3fuse to see a long time patient?

I tried entering without one on and was stopped. I flat out told the guy I will gladly spend my money elsewhere, and did. I haven't been back to any Menards since. I did a little more research after that, and found they've decided to increase their money to a political party that hates America and freedom.I made a mask out of blueberry netting and wore it to Menards once.
