WHO had the place stocked with food and WHO was taking care of the bodies?

Beth was snatched outside by the cops from the hospital, the ones with the crosses on their cars, and taken back to the city.
They were dumping bodies down the elevator shaft, they certainly were not taking the dead out to a mortuary in the country and embalming them.
