That is a very good ice cream stand and has been there for ever. The stand is on Meridian just south of Main St.

Unfortunately, it will be mostly driving. We will only be there a couple of days and then come back. I will be on unpaid vacation for all but a couple of days. 4 or 5 days each way if weather is good. I guess we are taking the 89 suburban so she will hit 100k sooner than I had planned. given the gas mileage on that beast you might want to look into a rental car, some used to have unlimited mileage deals. My son did that once with a friend when they drove out to Colorado

Thanks Greg! Looks like Susan's friend, her husband and the grandkids are all going tomorrow (they won't have the kids on Sunday), so it will just be a matter of whether Susan want's to get out in the cooler weather.

We are figuring a grand for gas. We can sleep in it needed. We can also take coolers for snacks and such.
