The boys' father just texted Susan and said he would try and make it by next weekend. We'll see.

Had hurricane weather for about a hour straight. Lost power and internet is sketchy. Lightning galore and scared the crap out of the pooch a couple times.

We had a pretty wimpy storm. But I got to talk to the twins about storms and how awesome they are. And I told them the story of me and Mom watching a storm when I was about their age out the back picture window and seeing our cherry tree get struck by lightning.
