I was nervous about our Christmas tree .. so far so good. They haven't messed with it at all

I got a smaller tree this year. I couldn't even put 1/4 of my stuff on it. Mom always got us ornaments for Christmas... I couldn't put them out this year anyway. And I had to make a run to the store for candy canes... MrG has to have candy canes on the tree and the ones I have been using for the past few years, the color started running and looked bad.

who needs chain restaurants when you have little town charm in the greasy spoons

And those are the places that have the best food! I went to subway, they have the best biscuits & gravy for a chain food place!
