Yeah, through my JR. year I was pretty well ripped... 195lbs with a 7% body fat.. Then I quit soccer going into my senior year.. bad decision.

Buy good socks and good shoes... won't get sweaty.. Mine are never sweaty. Ask MrsB!

Seriously, either underarmor or nike dry fit socks, or black microfiber dress socks and it's allllll good.

I have been instructed to wear cotton socks, I don't skimp on my shoes, I paid almost $30 on the pair of flip flops I am wearing now. My feet are the first to freeze or the first to burn. If they are burning, I wear flip flops. If they sweat the feet get all nasty, hence the cotton socks.

It isn't fashion for me, it's comfort. Before flip flops I wore sandals of some kind all summer and up until the first snow flew.
