    Forgive my stupidity, but did the treatment require bone marrow transplant or something of the like? The reason I ask is, MrsB and I are both on the Marrow Donor Registry and I'm curious if you've had any experiences to pass on.

    and FTR bone marrow transplants are FAR worse for the donor.
    I assume... they make it sound like it's no big deal, but I have my doubts. Mom died of BC so it's one of the little things I can do to help out. THey say you're out of the hospital same day and the pain isn't bad after the first three days. The other option is something with a blood filtering which they say is more common. They also say the only reason it hurts is bc of some pill you have to take for five days before.
