It was a quicker action than a 10/22. and went back to battery faster. It could be because all the springs are new. :dunno:

I was expecting it to feel like a 10/22 as far as recoil went. and when it was different I was surprised. Still love the gun and the trigger on it. I need to take time and actually site it in.

Maybe because it's lighter? Or just weight is distributed differently?

I want to do an Appleseed and thought it would be nice to have a .22 rifle I could put a sling on.

    :yesway:

    10/22's perform wonderfully!

If you take an MP 15-22 try to find the shorter mags for them. The normal ones seem to interfere with the sling in some shooting positions.

I think total weight is about the same. I think it is just distributed different. I know the BCG in the 15-22 is a noticeably heavier than the bolt in my 10/22. I am betting that is most of what I am feeling.

NOPE! and it's killing me. Bob said it will take a few days after the distributor gets it for it to get to him.

    I'd be going :runaway:

It'll be nice when you get it though :yesway:

You should do some accuracy tests with other ARs using different weight bullets. From 55 grain - 74 grain

I would be up for that.

if only I knew people how had a range where we could do that. and people who had multiple bands of AR's to compare it to.

including crappy 9mm ones as well.

I have a couple different .223 ones but they're both 1:7 twist. It'd be good to compare the 1:7, 1:9 and that 1:8 5R barrel
