the lab is shut down the week for annual maintenance so nope. and now that we have a maintenance guy on staff i don't have to climb into the cooling tower and user a hi-temp pressure washer to scrub scale out.

instead I get to sit at my desk and go though a small foot hills worth of paperwork.

Planning on picking up a MP15-22 this weekend. Found one for $439 + 15each for extra mags.

FYI. it had more felt recoil than I expected. not a lot just surprised by the amount.

More so than a 10/22?

it felt like it was more. it wasn't "bad" by any means what so ever. it was more "snappy" then a 10/22. I could shoot it all day for a full weekend and not be bothered by it at all.

It was a quicker action than a 10/22. and went back to battery faster. It could be because all the springs are new.

I was expecting it to feel like a 10/22 as far as recoil went. and when it was different I was surprised. Still love the gun and the trigger on it. I need to take time and actually site it in.

My only other .22LR rifle right now is an old Winchester 1890 pump. It's pretty light weight, I'll bet the recoil will be similar.
