I always try to carry a few different knives.
My main utility blade, medium or large folder.One hand fast opening.
My "sheeple" knife that has a 1" blade and it part of a multitool, two hands opening; slow to open.
A backup utility knife.
A concealed fixed blade defensive knife.

Right now a small Buck knife, forgot the name of the model.
Sometimes Spyderco Tenacious or other folders like that.
My backup knife is a Victorinox SAK Spartan, never used the blade so it's always razor sharp.Always in my jacket.
And a few options of fixed blades, like Kabar TDI and such.
