We could sell it for fire starting material in case the SHTF. I see people saying they save their dryer lint...I have a lot of that on a regular basis too...especially when washing the cat blankets.

Grandkids came and went. It warmed up enough outside, I just opened the windows and it warmed up the inside. So I escaped another day without turning on the furnace.

It clouded up earlier so I got the floors swept and ignored the garden. I have someone on their way now to buy some poultry fencing and a chicken crate. I guess I should go drag them out of the loft so it will be ready when she gets here. I've been answering the phone and having some interesting phone calls.

I'll be glad when this election is over....I am definitely not working the polls and apparently people are talking about me in the grocery store parking lot. Gotta love small town living....

Pretty much...like everywhere I guess.

I am no longer working the polls. They are short handed and yet they are having an issue with the food vendor I chose so now I am not working. Apparently, the food vendor is a democrat and that is not acceptable to the republicans who are in charge. I told them I am done...they can find someone else to do it. They are now down 3 out of the 5 republicans that normally work our precinct. It should be interesting to see how that works with someone who has been the inspector before being in charge at a general election of this importance. My daughter and I are not working and one of the others is out of town that week for business.
