The boat is in the back yard, covered and with a tarp over the whole think to protect the mooring cover. The tarp allowed water to sit on top. Now there is a 500 pound block of ice up there.

We had that one winter with our pontoon. It led to the poles with pie pans attached to make the cover tarp a tent instead of a lake.
