I only take them when my backs against a wall. I don't even like taking Tylenol that often, you learn to live with the pain, although some days my knee screams and I just gotta take something (alieve) to take the edge off.

I did have a really bad infection after a wisdom tooth extraction in Feb, Dentist said everything's healing good, refused to give me antibiotics. 2 weeks later I'm toughing thru the pain till I couldn't walk. Turns out the infection spread and turned to Cellulitis, 4 Percocet and 15 units of morphine couldn't take the edge off of it. Needless to say, I won't let the pain get that bad ever again.

Oct. of 01 I injured my left elbow. The Dr. said it was just a strain and should heal up. 1 week later my elbow swollen up to football size and I was in the hospital. Cellulite's infection. I was in for 5 days and off work for a month. Dr's suck generally.

My dad went to see a VA doc complaining of pain in his back and chest. Doc said, without any tests, he had a pulled muscle. Less then a year later he was dead from the cancer they didn't bother to look for. Ya, docs suck.
