    and on pistols?

my 22 and 9mm pistol are VERY quiet.

I actually use them a lot with new shooters. It takes the big scary noise out of the equation and allows you to just talk normal volume to them until they're comfortable. it's an excellent teaching tool.

How about the issue of you don't lose much by using a .45 can on a 9mm, or a .308 can on a 5.56?
My first can was a YHM Phantom, in 5.56. I regretted not getting it in 30 caliber. I’ve shot both side by side, and I can’t tell much difference.

For pistols, I use an AAC Ti-Rant in .45. The difference, versus the versatility, in my mind, is not even a question. This is why I would echo what Rookie told you in the thread. 3 cans will cover almost all of your needs, a 30 caliber rifle can, a .45 pistol can, and a rimfire. Those three would suppress about anything. From there you can choose to get more specialty cans to dedicate to specific guns.

The AEM5 that I’m waiting on is a specialty can. It will only fit on my MK12s. The Sandman L will basically be a replacement for my 5.56 Phantom.

So I’m sitting at Ortho Indy waiting for my wife to get done with a surgery.
Went to the cafe and tossed down a cheeseburger and fries. Very good food.
