Thanks to a fellow ingoer that I messaged awhile back approaching him about selling a s&w 610, I am now the proud owner of one. My 1+ yr long quest is fulfilled with a 610_3 in the safe. Thanks again jimbo!!!

AllenM and I were trying to find a serration design that would work on a 2011 build with a CK Arms grip frame. The design is very functional and looks good with the texture on the grip. Allens 2011 build that's a couple pages back has the same grip.

I'm still breaking in the 2011, so 100 rounds of Sig is just a dent in the pile. I bought 1000 rounds for this piece so it's all going to get shot at some point. It's not the cheapest 10mm out there but it is a good 10mm load and not a 40 S&W in a 10mm case.

100 rds of sig is kinda spendy, so...

on a typical range visit, especially if I’m with a guest, I’ll bring a couple of boxes of cheap 10mm, let them get used to that, then give them a mag or two of the Sig Elite. No one ever hasn’t felt the difference. It’s not Underwood, but it’s noticeably not ppu either.

You're right about that. I would think the Sig Elite would be good as Underwood to test with. It's cheaper and probably more available. Comparing the numbers, Sig's 180gr is rated at @1250fps = 625 foot pounds. Underwood's 180gr @1300fps = 676. So pretty close.

Anything else out there other than Glock for a double stack 10mm carry gun or nightstand gun? I'm interested in the caliber, but really only like having guns for defensive use, meaning no "range only" or "safe queen" guns. I prefer striker fired and no manual thumb safety, but all I can find is Glock in 10mm for this.

Glock is the polymer, striker fired that I know of.

    Tanfoglio has a polymer Witness, but’s it’s DA/SA.

I'm wanting the same in 10mm, although I wouldn't mind a DA/SA. Like you, all of my firearms are for business !
