And most of the vettes will be driven in the left lane at 68 mph.
By guys wearing Vette gear and socks with sandels!
Yeah but they have one and am jealous as hell. I have owned 2 vettes in my day. Both short term but I never looked down my nose at what those guys see as lesser vehicles.
My 67 was basically stock and made for the Highway. A great top down 2 seater that gave a good driving experience. I tried some SCCA stuff with it and learned very fast what a Porsche was designed to do.
My 69 was totaled sitting at a lite. I bought it to flip. We kept the engine and it went into my boat a few years later.
All that said I really love the tech we see coming our way. Your Pentastars are a prime example. That much HP in a factory package on pump fuel. That’s insane man. Insane I tell you.
Now the vette sporting the highest number NA so far which unless battery power takes all this from us I am sure some Marque will eclipse those numbers.
    Amazing times.

The hardcore Vette guy’s I have encountered are Vette or no car.

Last car show I attended the local Vette club was right behind us. Very elitist attitudes when I won best of show one of them said “It’s just a Mustang with some badges on it”.

That is who I was not. I used to get that from the Porsche crowd at the track. I hate that ****.
But truth is they could drive around me in the corners but I owned them on the straights. They hated that.
If you look at who can actually write a check for those cars it’s very obvious.

Reminds me of the bumper sticker “If you’re so fast, how come you’re behind me!”

I like all cars and enjoy checking them out.

Young kid about 18 had a project 1978 Z28 he was working on. He was very excited to tell me all about his build. I was excited for him. He won best project car.

A$$ hattery is common among car guys.
    Mopar or no car
    Mustang “watch this”
Chevy dudes think parts are easy to get.
Olds dudes know everything about numbers and models.
Pontiac guys just seem to look lost.
    55-57 guys are old.

No s10 for me today. Went and drove it. It was everything I wanted. Except that worst part. He said it needed a little drivers floor work, well I’m ok with that. Even rocker and cab corner work. What I’m not on with is the cab support complete gone and no floor where the drivers left foot is…. I expected rust, but the rest of the truck was not that bad! Too much of a project for me to deal with right now.

    OK I need some help.
2018 GMC Acadia. Wife picked it out and she loves it. Had it about a month. Today it throws a code on the dash board.
"Assisted steering is diminished drive with care"
So the manual is gibberish and google foo points towards this rig having electric power steering. Is that correct.
The code will not clear either.
    It drives and steers fine.

Quick Google search shows it looks to be a pretty common problem but not so much a common fix for it. Good old Government Motors:stickpoke:

My '17 Sierra has electric PS but I haven't experienced the code so no help. I vaguely remember something about a recall on the PS somewhere but not having any luck finding it.

    Edit: Found it!

https://www.consumerreports.org/car-recalls-defects/cadillac-chevrolet-gmc-suv-recall-power-steering-problem-a1811078052/#:~:text=General Motors is recalling 26,847,system to suddenly stop working.
Doesn't look like it applies to the mouse's Acadia, a least not yet
