Hubby is already making a list of things he plans to do before I start driving her, but I am adding to the "bus" garage here. Trying to decide what I can get for my old '88 pickup so I can put it up for sale. I have a neighbor interested already.

Not a hot rod but now I'll have a winter bus to drive when I have to park the blue one. This is a 1984...one owner from Arizona. No rust at all. The lady that had it, ordered it new and drove it till she died last fall at age 92! And...we have the same first name so I think it was fate that I bought it.

Heehee...it's name is Wicky!!! LOL! The lady's last name was Wickersham and everyone called her Wicky.

Here is a picture of my summer bus....

I had an '89 GMC version of this with the smallblock and it was a hell of a tow rig. I drug my racecar all over Ok, TX, and KS racing when I lived in that part of the country. It's one of those "wish I still had it vehicles"!

I love the half ton...rides so smooth. He already undercoated the blue one when we got it a few years ago and will do this one too. The red/white one has been used as a truck. This lady had horses and hauled hay/feed in the back. I need to sweep it out and clean it up on the inside. It smells like hay...which is okay with me being a farm girl. I was hoping it wasn't too pristine inside or he would get cranky if I haul bags of feed or gardening stuff in it. The blue one is like new inside so when I want to haul anything, he doesn't like it. This one has the cargo doors instead of the tailgate so that will be good for hauling things too.

The blue one has power windows, locks, etc. This one has crank windows, no power locks, AM radio---that will need to be changed. It looks like she backed into something and the driver's side of the bumper is pushed in a hair and it crinkled the bumper so he plans to replace that. Unbelievable how rust free/solid it is. Brake lines and gas lines look like new.

Suburban porn. . I love it. Both are sweet, but that 2wd blue on blue is beautiful.

I get lots of thumbs up when I drive that one. We actually had some guy chase us down in the Lowe's parking lot on the way home with the red & white one today asking if we wanted to sell it. We told him we had only had it an hour...we all laughed. He didn't get to buy it!
