You’re crazy if you think you’re only gonna drive the car on warm summer weekends. Don’t limit it like that... You’ll have to wait forever for it to get up to temp. What about going out for a cruise on a cool fall day? She ain’t gonna like going down the road at 140... throw a stat in. $30.

May start out with just a restricter and see if she likes it. Like you said, stats are cheap if I decide to throw one in for the late fall/winter driving.

Just need to isolate it and cool the fuel. It also doesn’t want to run right going down the road at 160...

There is a trick to fix that issue. Sometimes it works.

Not stupid...there's always a budget. We all just lie to ourselves by calling it a budget build. The budget is pretty much every dollar we can throw at it until the car can actually run and drive under its own power. Then we find something else to modify or upgrade. It never gets "done"
