I'll check on them today when I drive through there. I used to see so many in the fields on State Road 10 between 421 and 49. With the huge solar project going in near there, they have apparently changed their flight pattern a bit. Those fields are pretty much empty of the cranes. I did see a field on 49 a few miles south of that area that had a bunch when I was there three weeks ago.

I had one that stayed a while in our creek a few years ago.

We camped a couple nights outside of Wilcox in SE Arizona, which has a large body of water for the sandhill cranes, and a small Playa (dry sink) for camping. Large 2300 acre Playa just south was used for WW2 bombing practice prior to 1966 natural landmark designation. Interesting beautiful area with the geography and Native American history (Geronimo). Thousands of the birds dusk and dawn flying into and out of the area. Guess they're very social birds and since there's thousands, it's quite loud.

I definitely would like to see more of the area west of the Mississippi.

The old brick factory Not been there for years last time was all grew up in weeds. I am not far from Medora but don't go thru there often. I wonder if the covered bridges are still in good shape.

I've been to the Medora bridge several times. Last was around 2016 and it was fine then.

Well, I was going to post a "pic", but fortunately I read it a bit better, and found a "bad" word.
    INGO unfriendly.
    So, I'll type it out.

The real problem with books-turned-movies isn't "omg they didn't include every single word in the book"
It's "omg they completely overlooked the main theme, threw out any significant allegories, took away all the emotional pull, and turned it into a boring action movie with a love triangle in it".

Oh c'mon... You've gotten in trouble for it before. You're still here. I say go for it! :stickpoke:

I have actually PM'd people warning them about that after learning of your experience, so you have unwittingly saved others!
I've sent a few warnings also.
Told the person that I wasn't threatening to "tell on them", but that I had gotten in trouble before and didn't want them to get in trouble.

Yep, I would always tell them I didn't want to see them get "dinged" by the mods.
