Uh, not really. The “Mitochondrial Eve” is more vague and theoretical than assigning a single person as the mother of all humans. Same with the Y-chromosomal Adam. They wouldn’t even have had to live at the same time. It’s that all the other lines of ancestry went extinct.

In terms of race, it is a social construct. What we think of as race is heritage.
