    Repeating the lie.
I guess it's OK to call it a lie, but it's really a half truth - there's a lot of factors include the fact that women want to work less. Therefore, it can be said that Cory Booker wants to take away women's choice to be a stay-at-home mother.

Cory Booker is Against Women's Rights!!!!!

I'd stick with "lie". The $0.77 (now .79?) figure is way off. The earnings gap is closer to $0.91, and it's... as you said... based on choice. Job choices, work hours, etc.

Um, let's be clear- the .79 (or .77 or whatever) number is derived by adding up all of the money made by men and dividing by the number of men and adding all of the money made by women and dividing by the number of women.

How is this number relevant to anything?

It does not account for training, education, job choice, seniority, production....or anything else.

It is illegal for a business to pay women less than men for the same work. If there is a real "wage gap" shouldn't the court be chucked full of these lawsuits? These lawsuits exist, but they are fairly rare. The truth is, business owners, whether they want to or not, comply with the law.

Actually, many women know it's fake, as well as men.

I think feminists just want the gap between the broad average of wages to close

The fastest way to give them their wish would be to fire low paid women and replace them with men at the same pay rate

Fits here more than the gaming thread...

The non-journos at Kotaku were complaining, again, that games need an "easy mode". They want this for two unspoken reasons: They aren't gamers, and they can't rush their reviews out in time.

The recent release of "Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice", which is a "souls" game... like Dark Souls, Bloodborne... known for being very difficult.

Fine, let them whine, no big deal.... but what really put the nail in their *****-coffin was actually disabled gamers beat the game without complaining. They've come forward to shame Kotaku for trying to use disabilities as an excuse for adding easier modes.

Nah, these "journalists" don't like games. They're failed political science majors that couldn't get real jobs, so they have to find a way to push their agenda through another medium.

How much overlap is there between these whiners and the media whores from Gamergate - many of those proved they lacked any pretense to real journalism and were just striving to be good little apparatchiks

The specific journo that wrote this article for Kotaku has only been with them recently. He came from Entertainment Weekly, Vulture, GQ. Joshua Rivera.

Back in 2014 he tried to write an even-handed EW article about GamerGate, but that was before the narrative pamphlet was handed out.

Since then, he has written many articles focusing on "toxic gamers", misogyny, etc... pretty much bashing gamers every chance he gets. Which explains why he was hired at Kotaku.

I can't imagine wanting to work in an industry where you seek out opportunities to bash (what advertisers perceive to be) your primary audience.

    How it usually happens.

    1. State a retarded opinion about gender nonsense.
    2. Lock your account because people are pointing out how dumb you are.

Won't be happy until "Men at work" signs have every pretend gender listed.

Whenever I've seen a road crew, the woman in the crew is ALWAYS the one holding the stop/slow sign, directing traffic. EVERY TIME.
