I had that and also had a radio station transmitter that the car radio picked up to play music from an iPod. Later I had one that connected Bluetooth to the phone…

I had an FM modulator that plugged into the radio antenna inline. It worked pretty good.

yes some batteries will inevitably burn, especially if damaged in an accident. However, I think traditional ICE cars are way more flamey. Every electric vehicle that burns makes it on to X. Regular cars burning are part of the noise.

Maybe, but you're not supposed to touch either one of them against stuff while driving.

Tough to do when most still have a covid era 6ft distance rule on the interstates at 80mph.

I remember those and I went from Heaven to breakfast and back a few times to figure out a way to get a cassette player into my '70 Mustang Mach I.
Found a Sony that did not care whichaway up was. Most were too big to fit in a dash mount.
Under dash was most plans.
I had a spot for this Sony that could stand up and finally the answer.

I no longer needed either the 8 track or the new fangled toy thing.

(another search had begun)

One guess why I needed a long whip antenna for how I filled the hole in the dash.
