    ...I didn't spend a huge amount of time playing the games given you had to go somewhere to play them, but every chance I'd get.

    We rode bikes to the big city of Wakarusa, 4 miles, uphill both ways;), and blew our quarters in whatever ONE game Cook's Pizza had at the time. Defender, Galaga, and Spy Hunter are the ones I recall.

    I was WELL into my teens before I made the shocking realization that places called arcades, that had DOZENS of game, actually existed.:laugh:

    Nobody is mentioning pinball. If I could have all the quarters I blew at OSU playing the two pinball machines we had in our dorm...
    I did learn valuable lessons:
    1. Free ball always gets wasted.
    2. Solenoids are in the betrayal business.
    3. Trying to time it just right = drain.
