Yeah but people are gonna think think Hank, whose birthday is in July, is just trolling people. Or, Ivan, born in April, is a social justice warrior.m

Of course Edward, born in April may just watch too much fetish porn.

    Could be anywhere
I found that some people are triggered when you say figure skating is not a sport. So I tend to say it a lot.

Yeah, anything you have to keep score in to figure out who won is a game. Anything a team of judges has to figure out who won is an activity.

I agree. But maybe we need to make that more precise. Boxing is a sport and is scored by judging. Snowboarding is scored by judging, though one might argue that snowboarding is an activity and not a sport. It’s judged much like figure skating. But what might set snowboarding firmer into the category of a sport, the judging doesn’t include “artistic merit”. If the primary aim is “art”, and even though it’s a physical art, and some of the scoring is objective, it ain’t a sport. If you take your family to see holiday on ice, that’s not a sports event. If figure skating is a sport, then why isn’t competitive dancing an olympic event?
