The problems with this:
First, who said it was a guy doing the pooping?
Second, What, you wanted to watch him/her doing it? I think there are laws against that... voyeurism or some such..
Third, That camera won't stop anybody from pooping anywhere. for that, you're going to either have to convince the person to stop or force him/her to do so.

1) It could be inferred that the sign was posted after the camera caught the perpetrator.
2) Point taken.
3) Although the camera wouldn't force someone to not poop there, it would tend to be a deterrent, if the pooper is human, literate, and somewhat intelligent.

#1 OK- person...but what if only guys are at this place?
#2 Not in a public place or anyplace where you don't have an expectation of privacy.
#3 When you catch and punish someone, there is at least some deterrent value...especially if this is a workplace and you fire them.

One time I was dreaming I was getting married to Meg Ryan, on the Space Shuttle launch pad.
After the wedding, we stopped at a drug store to get some condoms and .....

AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH.

It was the watchstander waking me up to go stand watch as Reactor Operator. I REALLY would have rather finished that dream though.
