People can all sell Biden short, but all he really has to do is be a figurehead for the dc establishment. Somebody else will make the decisions and write his script to dovetail with his long running drunken uncle at Christmas routine. Big media will bless this and any of his past sins will be absolved. President Trump should worry about the power behind Joe and not the puppet that the man has become. The DNC really just needed any candidate other than Bernie to get some legs under them and now they have that. The leadership is already looking past the convention as they will simply exclude Bernie and like 2016, hell just accept it.

I, for one, have a sort of hankering for the Dems running an establishment dork like Biden. I would especially like it if "Brown Man" got back into the game, and decided to start helping his old lackey Biden. I would like to see Biden try and run on the record of Obama, with someone like Trump in the Bully Pulpit who's willing to hit back. Someone who will point out what Obama really was, instead of staring at the crease in his pants and being afraid to attack him because he's (half) black.

Let's see: DACA, policies that encourage foreigners to leave their teenagers in baskets on our doorstep by the truckload, Iran nuclear deal, coddling BLM, saying the failure of the AW ban was his worst day in Washington, using taxpayer money to sue companies that don't want to provide certain health services that millions of Americans disagree with (and whom nobody is forced to work for), shining rainbow lights on the White House, whacking local schools with the carrot-stick of people with penises being allowed to pee in the girls bathroom at public schools and all that. That sounds like *exactly* the sort of thing that is going to get our troops stirred up and in the game, and produce exactly the kind of electorate we want to turn out. We know the other side has got "their" demographic lined up. Time to engage all those people who were sick of the Obama policies but couldn't do anything about it, and take another whack at defining his legacy.

This, my friends, is going to be fun. I'm ready to see the record of the Obama years dragged out and bludgeoned by someone who's not scared of the Civil Rights Industry.

So come on, Barry. Dig yer nuts out of your mother-in-law's desk drawer, remand the responsibility for writing Netflix holiday movies over to Michelle, and come get what the GOP should have given you, but didn't (then) have the guts to do.

Like everything else from a political machine President Obama has a number, nobody has met that number yet and I think he set it too high. His endorsement would have meant more earlier, but now the choice has been made. Maybe he'll lower his price to pick up something out of this.

About the response to the Biden wins.

This makes my Never Trump, Jeb! voting, Chamber of Commerce friends angry. “He’s a socialist! He’s said glowing things about communist regimes! How dare you – as a conservative – cheer the likes of Sanders?!”


Oh really? How dare you – as a conservative – pretend anyone in the Democrats’ field isn’t a full-blown socialist? Furthermore, how are the current luminaries of their party – Obama, Pelosi, Schiff, Schumer, etc. – how are any of them fundamentally different than Bernie Sanders? The answer is they’re not. They’re just better salespeople.

Biden has five decades of big government stank on him and that makes Republican, Democrat, and media establishment as comfortable with him as an old pair of jeans. They’d all love to see Biden win the nomination and go on to defeat President Trump.
