    .
The original question....which I still have not received a reply to, was based on this post by Route 45. I see no need to travel the meandering path that the dog pile wants to just because they like the smell somewhere else.

Do you disagree with Bloomie's observation? In what way?

I've worked in a number of factories, everybody behaves much the same regardless of sex or color if they want to keep working. Maybe things are different on the east coast, or maybe Mike hasn't spent much time in manufacturing.

Those are the folks that make it through the HR process. Methinks Mini-Mike is talking more about those who don't make the cut or fail to apply because they have issues with routine employment.

    Or not.

I'm not sure how any freedom loving person can be OK with that policy.

OK good point but seriously, we have hobbled LEO on all levels. Those in charge have a revolving door policy and the entire bond system is a farce.

So what would your answer to these issue be.

Not a knock or a slam on any level. Solid question to a rising issue.

Plenty of authoritarians on the "right" are perfectly OK with it, too.

    Edit, here comes Bloomie:

    NPR/PBS/Marist National Dem Poll
    (+/- since December)

    Sanders 31% (+9)
    Bloomberg 19% (+15)
    Biden 15% (-9)
    Warren 12% (-5)
    Klobuchar 9% (+5)
    Buttigieg 8% (-5)
    Steyer 2% (+1)

Bloomie is probably going to be "the man". The Centrists like Bernie personally but don't want a socialist in the White House. And they aren't ready for a gay married guy in there either. Biden has lots of Ukrainian baggage, real or not, and cannot seem to string two sentences together.

Mini-Mike and Klobber. A tag-team wrestling duo if there ever was one.

Why would he think they don't know how to behave in the work place if they didn't make through HR or didn't apply?

It’s a package deal the young men in question do not understand how to act in society not just the workplace. Blame it on what you want if you don’t show up and are not worth crap at work you don’t get a job.

Under Bernie your work assignment will be given to you!

Whats Mini Mike’s stance on all the issues?
The facts are the dude is very boring he is not going to fire up a base of voters.

Jetta, it is not that any of us want socialized medicine. He does. He is tipping his hand about death panels, just like Obama.

Or, more likely, that we, a society, need to drop the rhetoric (e.g. Death panels), and have a serious conversation about medicine.

For example, "is the current medical system focused too much on longevity at the detriment to quality of life?"

I think the 'protest everything' attitude is a lot more pervasive than it used to be. I could see where this would not sit well in a workplace since it is basically non-productive.
There has always been a wide spectrum of attitudes and behaviors but lately there seems to be a shift toward the non-productive side of the spectrum.

Yeah. Mike doesn't have a lot of sizzle. And for those in the party that want excitement and drama...well, Mike is not that guy.

But after Trump, I think there are many of us who want a quiet, sober, manager who doesn't fly by the seat of his pants. Mike is that guy.

I still have problems with his anti-gun position, but this is a guy who understands markets, has a reasonable sense of Joe Average American and probably can do a pretty good job in foreing relations.

So if mini- Mike is elected what would he do to improve where we are today?

Well all the pesky guns will be gone!

Then a super nanny state will take over with extreme restrictions on types of food and such.

Mini Mikes America is not a fun place but I am sure a boring little dude will earn respect among dictators and European predators all 5ft 3in of his boring self.
