I heard on the AM radio that Hillary's thrown her hat in the ring. Have not verified it yet.

New York local station reporting an "exclusive" that HRC isn't running in 2020.

Good for her for knowing when to stop. Eventually.

I won’t feel comfortable knowing that she’s finally done screwing with the country until the news reports are that she’s kicked the bucket.

hitlary from a Washington Examiner article...

"I want to be sure that people understand I'm going to keep speaking out," Clinton said. "I'm not going anywhere. What's at stake in our country, the kind of things that are happening right now are deeply troubling to me. And I'm also thinking hard about how do we start talking and listening to each other again? We've just gotten so polarized. We've gotten into really opposing camps unlike anything I've ever seen in my adult life."

    Seems like a deplorable comment.

She may be waiting for a Draft Hillary movement. Based on what I hear from midwestern Dems, that won't happen. Maybe in her home district out east or something, but it won't have traction and will ultimately be embarrassing.

Given how far left the coastal Dems have become, I am not sure who her constituency would be now.

I just saw an article title (didn't read the article) that if Pres. Trump loses in 2020, he may be a sore loser.

    Really.
They must not have witnessed the left in 2016.

Oh. Is that speech where she drug out the fake southern drawl again? Jeez. She doesn't even do it right.

And about polarization. Given her hate-filled rhetoric towards republicans, I think her solution to depolarization involves eliminating the entire opposition by suiciding them.

The clown car isn't full until it has Biden and Hillary in it. Poll numbers look like Biden and Sanders, the two whitest, male-est candidates pretty far out in front of the identity politics wing. That's the problem with intersections. By the time you get 2 or 3 levels in, the number of people who identify with you is next to nothing.

It shows that the real battle so far is which old white male can out-socialist the other.

I think Biden is the more dangerous. For the center left he will seem reasonable and capable, and he could be acceptably not Trump for the harder core progressives

I think Bernie is the change the progressive left is looking for, but can't really pull in the center-left

I think Biden would have the broader appeal and be less likely to induce the faction he doesn't best represent to stay home or jump ship

Then add in how they don't want to work with the party moderates....

I think Biden needs to pull in more than just the center. He can do that. And you’re right, he would probably be more dangerous for Trump. Trump got a lot of the working class vote that Hillary **** on. A lot of those might support Biden. But I think it’s kind of the TEA Party problem. The centerist Republicans weren’t a big enough group to elect John McCain on their own. Sarah Palin didn’t swing enough people onboard.

Trump got 12% of the Bernie Bros vote. But a lot more didn’t vote because they didn’t like Trump and they were pissed at the DNC. Looking like dems will do the same thing.
