Poking around on Rimfire Central, I see that CZ made several 22s with threaded barrels, but they were usually threaded 1/2 x 20 rather than 1/2 x 28. Haven’t been able to find an aftermarket or factory replacement threaded barrel yet, though… Still looking, but I suppose it’s going to end up threaded one way or another.

I'd leave it alone and buy a 457 at-one threaded in LH.

I don’t see any 457 LH... “at one”? If I can get one in left hand this is really going to make my day.

Unless it's a collector's item, I say thread it.

I'll give you another idea though. I would find out what the cost of the threading is, versus buying a new barrel that's already threaded. That would always give you the option of returning the rifle to "stock" configuration.

when I had my new CZ 455 Evolution - It came in a .17 HMR config - I bought a new threaded .22lr from Bud's for swapping out the caliber.

Give Bud's a run -- or even Greenwood's Outdoorsman Sport Shop
