I'm not much of a revolver guy, but the 686 series is something special. TopDog let me shoot his 686+ Talo edition and I really enjoyed it. I don't really have much desire to own a revolver, but if I had to pick one that would be my choice.

Yesterday I finally completed the full Cajun Pro package on the old beater compact. After I get it all set it is yours to carry until your one off's can be reacquired!

One of the guns that I sold a decade ago and am looking to replace this year is a 4” 686-3 or -4. The new ones can be better in a lot of ways but the “older” ones have a great look and feel.

The one he let me shoot was a 5" model. I'd always thought if I got a revolver it would be a 4" model, but I really liked the balance of that 5" model.

I've worked weekend days consistently for around 8 years, so it's just normal for me at this point. Weekdays off are nicer for me anyway since I don't have to fight traffic when I want to go somewhere.

Project for this coming week is to get my brace onto the Scorpion. Even though it's just pushing down the button and using a mallet to get the end plate off, I might end up requiring some assistance.
