I'm not much of a revolver guy, but the 686 series is something special. TopDog let me shoot his 686+ Talo edition and I really enjoyed it. I don't really have much desire to own a revolver, but if I had to pick one that would be my choice.

One of the guns that I sold a decade ago and am looking to replace this year is a 4” 686-3 or -4. The new ones can be better in a lot of ways but the “older” ones have a great look and feel.

The one he let me shoot was a 5" model. I'd always thought if I got a revolver it would be a 4" model, but I really liked the balance of that 5" model.

    NICE!

Yesterday I finally completed the full Cajun Pro package on the old beater compact. After I get it all set it is yours to carry until your one off's can be reacquired!

The Wizard is THE MAN!

    Good Morning, My People.!!

Today is a travel day to the wilds of Westward Sidney, NE.

It's -0- degrees out here in Des Moines - so yeah, that Spring Thang is distant.

Fun reading back all I missed whist not monitoring this forum.

It is really a treat to see where this thread goes any given day.

Cars to CZ's to newest AR builds to Mobikes to birthdays to movies.

Such an eclectic group of people...that's why I do love it so.

    So...what's the next topic.???

Deacon ! .....good to hear from you. Drive safe, my friend. :)

Same here. I'm dragging butt today. We're taking the kiddo to see the new Lego Movie this evening though.

Finally up and moving for the day. I don't work until later this afternoon, so I have some time to relax and finish some assignments. Thankfully I have actual days off this coming Wednesday and the Wednesday after!

I've worked weekend days consistently for around 8 years, so it's just normal for me at this point. Weekdays off are nicer for me anyway since I don't have to fight traffic when I want to go somewhere.
Yeah, I get that. I only go to the range on weekdays. :yesway:

Project for this coming week is to get my brace onto the Scorpion. Even though it's just pushing down the button and using a mallet to get the end plate off, I might end up requiring some assistance. :dunno:
