PCR will take my 75 mags??? That would seal the deal. I already have a bunch. The P07 won’t take 75 mags?

Either would eventually get the full boat Wiz treatment. I don’t take money into account (within reason, these are only a few hundred apart) since I’m willing to wait and save if need be to get the right thing.

I forget what part of the state you are, but if you're in and around NEI, I have a Wizard PCR you can take for a spin.

Pretty good. Got done doing some thorough barrel cleaning on my rifles, been doing the boresnake cleanings for too long. Decided to sit down for few minutes at the desk before heading to bed.

I feel better than I have in about 15 months. I am optimistic about the coming Spring and getting out and doing some shooting.

How are the PCR aluminum frames? Any concern with the steel slide riding in Aluminum channels? Galling or any issues with durability?

I've never heard of a problem. I have/use to have/will have again soon a surplus compact with an alloy frame. When I got it it was easy to see that it had been used a lot. There have been thousands of rounds down that barrel. It is still in great shape with no evidence of any issues at all.

The only reason I prefer the PCR is that I don't need a rail on a carry gun. For those jobs that require a rail I prefer to use a full sized handgun.

Well, if you are ever along I69 or US24, the offer stands. I am sure we can round up a P07/09 too.

...but...gun for gun, the PCR, especially after a trip to the Wizard, is just a great great platform.

VERY little difference in weight. Just your preference on a rail or not.

Yes. 88 is taking the 686+ in the morning. Barry is getting my 6.5 Creedmore. In that one I am getting the 327 he has listed.
