I'm waiting for something that will require me to work....in order to employ it.
But that's OK, as I'm still happy for the chance to use it this Fall.
An Ego battery-powered (5.0 Amps !) "brushless" leaf blower is enroute. Between here and the cabin, I have a lot of leaves to move this year. The last time I used my old, corded B&D blower, the motor actually started smoking.....then, it stopped !
Well… at least it stopped smoking!!!

Good stuff right there. Love the EGO stuff I have.

...Truthfully my accuracy is suffering on this one. Time for a new barrel. What mods did you do to yours?...

Although they don't get much attention on INGO, I installed a Kart XACT Fit barrel in my Ruger SR1911 and it greatly reduced group size. It does take some fitting but with Karts installation kit and instructions it is a simple process. Go slowly and test fit constantly. I am thrilled with the improvement it made.

Thanks! I'll definitely look into that.

That's one way to flirt I suppose.

I'm free...fedex actually delivered to the door for a change. Didn't get the "required" signature that Brownells paid for but hey, baby steps are better than nothing.
They didn't throw it toward the direction of your door? That's progress!

I used a lot of Karts barrels but all were custom fit offerings and yes they are a vast improvement over about any OEM barrel

Everyone seems to love those EGO tools. We have a lawn fanatic neighbor and that's all he uses. I'm a Stihl gas powered guy myself.
    ....but you're young ! :)
Think about someone like myself, who's had major neurosurgery on my spine (but it continues to deteriorate).
The 14 " Ego chainsaw cuts with almost as much oomph as the Stihl Farm Boss saw that I sold.....and it weighs about 1/2 of the Stihl. And that's the advantage for me ..... although in truth, sure, I preferred the Stihl, but with the battery-tool I can still process my own wood for campfires ! :rockwoot:
