Did you try pouring the rum in one ear and out the other like I suggested?

    Morning all.

My dilemma for today is "go shooting or do the leaves". Hmmm...I should probably let the leaves dry for a few days.
I was too tired to drink last night, even through my ears.

I'll rest up today, so I can have the energy tonight for it.

    Morning

Day 7 of my left ear infection. Went back to Doctor yesterday due to conditions worsening. It hurts to eat because the pain is bad when I open my jaw that far and chew. Stronger antibiotics and now waiting 3 days to see if culture shows a fungal infection.

Still able to get stuff done around the house and work. So there's a silver lining.
It's weird that you and your daughter have ear infections. I hope it goes away soon!

Back in, windy, saw some deer, no birds or small animals moving though. Not many shots.
I saw several grey squirrels and birds. A few deer but same as you, opportunity wasn't accompanying them. I'm back out here in a bit. Evening is my prime time.

Edit: as I suspected, wasn't going to hear them. They appeared and disappeared without a peep. Lots of fresh sign in the area. 2 new rubs right on my walking trail.

    .
Saw two groups moving south to north, both were moving slow but not feeding which made me think they were pushed off the ground south of me. One was on the trail directly under the stand, the other 50 yards to the west.

I've seen 5 bucks today, all by their self and on the move. Still in a tree and it's kinda dead ao here I am.

Saw one 4 point and a bunch of turkeys this evening, the gardener had hot apple cider mixed with bourbon waiting on me.

Probably won't go out tomorrow morning, higher winds, colder and rain.

Did get some good news in an e-mail. I have a Cody Museum disposal coming, a Bacon/Manhattan revolver very early before Manhattan went to Jersey and Thomas Bacon started his own company. Needs work, but I've never seen one that early.
