I am surrounded with unconditional love. More so than I deserve. This gives me strength.Mouse, following your journey makes me very sad but watching how you have maintained your attitude has given me hope that we all can face adversity in such a way. I'll continue to pray for you & your family.
I feel ya deacon, I'm up but definitely not awake yet.Up...I'm up, no really - I'm up.....
Sounds reasonably good considering the wind and rain I saw yesterday.Morning gents.
First cup down.
Had a dismal performance with the 6.5 yesterday. New loads being made later today and a reevaluation of bags or rest. First two outings with the gun the test loads grouped 5 shots at .52 to 1” with a .65 average. Yesterday day I couldn’t best a .74.
Oh well - this game is a chase race.
It's the big bench gun that was at the FGE. Won't run factory ammo in it so haven't tried.Morn'n Bandit
I'm not a loader/reloader but have you tried to copy a factory load you've had good results with? Not a smartass question either, being genuine..
Yep. We normally don't much get wind at my 100 yard range but it was a gusty wind that was running crossrange.Sounds reasonably good considering the wind and rain I saw yesterday.
This six day a week crap doesn't leave me much time for rifle parties.
My 742 is the same way.Yep. We normally don't much get wind at my 100 yard range but it was a gusty wind that was running crossrange.
It actually snow for just a second....
OK...I amend my previous post. It was all the weather. Gun and I shoot perfect!
Thanks, Patience!
On a positive note, we found a nice hunting load for my son's Bergara and hit some steel with a old Remington 742.
You get about three good shots with that 742 before the barrel heats up and the accuracy goes from 2 moa to OMG moa.
Morning
