I ended up eating something and relaxing a bit, then got back to it. Trigger installed and works fine, just not the hammer...

I have never even held that model but is there a chance the hammer strut is not correctly placed on the mainspring? That can happen on some others.

To me, it looked like the pins or whatever that holds the strut on the Thunder hammer stuck out a bit where there wasn't anything like that on the stock hammer. It installs fine, but then won't cock as the pins hit on surrounding stuff.

Patience, the last few times I've came through Atlanta I get in the HOV lane and stay there. Things tend to move well. There is one spot where the signs trick you into thinking you have to switch lanes but stay put and keep rolling.
