FWIW, 7-9" seems short to me for a 16" barrel.

Here is a 12" Aero Precision Atlas S-One on a 16" barreled/pistol length gas system .300 BO. It measures a little over 12".

I gave up on going to sleep 10 minutes ago and took my first ambien in the last week or two. If I'm not asleep in another 15, my old friend xanax will take care of it. I've missed too much nice weather this week.

I am fearful of assisting sleep. If my new buddy filled up and I missed it the. The results would be just icky nasty and unpleasant.
I am adjusting to the new normal.

The opioids for pain were pretty stout. They put me out. Towards the end I was controlling the pain with Tylonal and using the opioid to sleep. Only way I could in the Hospital. To much noise and interference.
In the peace and quiet here at home I still can’t sleep at night. Days no problem grabbing 3 straight in a deep sleep.

It is approaching fast. I have to put the finishing touches on my rifle and dial the load in a little bit more. Also have a p220 I need to strip down and see if AllenM will Cerakote it. So honestly, the 457 will be a winter project.
