I was an alternate a couple of years ago. It was really interesting until the time to deliberate. The alternate is not allowed to speak during deliberation. Can't nod or shake your head. Can't smile or frown. And they deliberated for six hours.

Yes, that is true but we can talk about the case before deliberations while in the jury room as long as all the jurors are present.

I haven't shot the 09, but I'm really enjoying my 07. I just got the parts in the mail to change it from a safety to a decocker but it's been a busy week or so. I'll get them installed sooon.

Wt glad your wife is ok. Sorry to hear the car isnt. Guns are an asset. If something more important in life comes up and a gun needs to go to pay for it that seems pretty smart and responsible to me. Life goes on and guns can be replaced.

The wife is going to Texas this weekend, that means I can go broke, and pass out in a strip bar, or go shooting all weekend. I've found two USPSA matches, one Saturday up towards Lafayette, and one Sunday, down south. Anybody interested? I'm probably going to both.

I feel your pain. I'm restoring an old Blazer for my son and found some seats that'll work perfect but slightly out of our price range. Gonna have to sell the P09 that I bought and never had a chance to shoot. Guess I'm too poor to be in the cz club.

Get that kid an extra job. He's tough, he can handle it.

Jokes on you, I can go as high as $100, since that is all that is in my gun fund right now.

Seriously though, it is going to be a few months before I can afford anything really. We just got some of my kids medical bills in this week. Some from last years emergency trip due to suicidal thoughts. The kid is doing better now, and therapy continues to help.

I did look at T-dogg’s OD Green in the classifieds first.

Is the P-09 a 9mm or 40sw? Could be interested if it’s a 40. I wouldn’t mind having a second one. Don’t have to share with the wife then.
