I’m stuck with jury selection today. Unfortunately it’s for a murder trial. Other than that it’s just Monday

I made it all the way to the selection phase where we sat in the jury box for a murder trial. I was at the end of the line, they never even talked to me before they had the jury selected. I was interested and wanted to be selected just for the experience of it.

Got it last night around 10. It will be making a trip north to the wizard even though it is full of CGW parts. He needs to get all up in this thing.

You don't get the same "gambler's rush" when you do that. It's like playing the slot machine vs. a change machine.

I am the guy that doesn't bid until the last 15 minutes after an early low bid. Couple times the early low bid on a no reserve has yielded a good deal but usually I get to the end and figure that I have spent this much time and I better buy it.

Anybody shoot any USPSA matches? I've got time to kill this weekend, looking for input. There is a match up around Lafayette this Saturday.

I haven't shot USPSA, but I did shoot IDPA which was a lot of fun. I hear that you use more ammo shooting USPSA, so it should be a lot of fun. I know at IPDA there were always new shooters and everyone was great getting everyone up to speed with the courses and rules and such. I say go for it...

Well, that stinks on multiple levels. I'll assume by your post that she is physically OK?

On a side note, if it was her fault that will give you years and years of being able to say, "Yea, but at least I didn't wreck the car".
