Yes I did. The exact specs escape me at present but it is perfect for that rifle. I got the better of the available mounts as well.

Just finished night #2 of painting. And still not done, but almost... trimming the baseboards and door frames is the final finishing touch.

Man do I hate painting. Sometimes a man's home is his hassle.

The 642 came with a pretty nice IWB holster that works very well. It just disappears especially if I leave my shirt tail out. Carried it all day today and forgot it was there.

We have 15 gallons of wall and ceiling paint we did not get up last fall. Just no more time and not doing it with the windows closed. Bothers the spouse and the 11 year old. This fall. Yup. Gonna do it this fall.

I took a break from painting, we are 80% done, mostly trim work and closets is what's left to do.
I have not been in the mood lately to paint.
We moved into our new house on 6/12 and hit it hard for about 3 weeks straight.
I was going to finish the painting this weekend, but it looks like we'll be out of town.

That's what I should have done, but I tried that "let's do it this Fall so I can open the windows" line on the Mrs, and she wasn't buying it this year.
