I've had two of those special procedures ..... guess that makes me a veteran !
Of course you have had two....we wouldn't expect any less...
I have a friend who retired his ******* for a colostomy bag because he waited too long.
Don't wait.
Doing prep today for that procedure tomorrow "men of a certain age" are supposed to have done. I want nothing more right now than a bacon double cheeseburger.
I have had 2 of those as well. All part of the Cancer screen's they do when you go into remission. Well, 1 before and 1 after. They want to do one every year. I said nope. I will let you know. 16 years in remission. On a "You have 3 years to live" program.
I never did follow instructions very well.
Let's just say he is significantly younger than you.
I have always tried to complete every task in a expeditious manner, rather it is work responsibilities, personal projects or range work. I like to start - work - finish. Sometimes reality gets in the way, especially for home projects. One of the greatest things my wife every did was hire someone to mow the lawn...man, is it nice to come home and see the lawn mowed and move on to something else. We hire out more small little repairs than ever. Used to be if something small broke (say the dryer), I HAD to fix it myself. Now I am content to pay someone and focus on my paid work.
Our range is closed this week....so unless I go to Hillside, I will need to live vicariously though INGO...
I have been absolutely terrible about letting life get in the way of things like this that are important. I just had a glowing annual check-up a couple weeks ago that I'm quite thankful for because I was about 11 years late in getting it done... kind convinced myself I didn't need to take it seriously because I still run/workout 4x a week and feel good, don't take anything for any problems. This time I was fine, but it's been really foolish of me to roll the dice for so long.
Whoa. Agreed with MM for sure, glad you're telling the tale, and still cranking out insanely gorgeous 1911s!I have had 2 of those as well. Ok let's get back on track a little. What's the general consensus on the Phantom?
