Yup. Got everything done today so we can relax tomorrow. Going to put some new sights on a couple. Some work to one of the sbr's.

I have some work that did not get done today. Blower assembly from a furnace gets a new wheel and a motor. Old wheel refuses to come off the motor shaft. That will be fun.

Hell, it was too hot to enjoy fishing this evening. That's pretty damn hot. Still caught a few, but I wasn't covering as much water as I normally would with this heat.

Spent the day at the Speedway today for the vintage races. What a great time, but the heat was really up there at times. Once in a while, you'd get a nice breeze though. It's great seeing the old iron run though. My favorite one today was an almost original Dodge Challenger T/A. Owner said that she bought it in '83 and restored it in '93. She got tired of the show circuit where people would tell her that a bolt was plated wrong or some other tidbit, so she started racing it instead. It's been a dedicated track car since 2003 and her husband also runs an old Challenger in the same class. Nice people.

Hot day for any work.

1. I took an 8 minute walk with my rolling walker around 4 pm (improving on my 7 minute yesterday) on my 4th day home from surgery, and I was glad to get back inside.
2. The right hip took it better than the day before: so no complaints!

I noticed this kit fits the .45 also. Then I remembered that S&W has 14rd mags for the fullsize M&P45. Then the gears began to turn.
