Yep, agree with 88. Nothing wrong with liking what you like. One interesting feature of the Canik is an indicator on the back of the slide that lets you know when the slide has been racked and the trigger is therefore able to fire. It doesn't indicate anything else, but it's a nice way to easily tell the gun is ready to shoot. This gun is the only gun I own that doesn't have either a safety or a decocker. I don't really intend to carry it, just use it as a range gun. For someone who has no issue with striker fired poly guns, it represents a great value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Personally, I'll stick with my hammer fired guns with external safeties for carry

I am selective with who I shoot with. There is a mile or more to the closest neighbor.
Well.....you have shot with us so there is that....
Looks like you have it all covered.
Momentary lapse of reason
I'll blow through more ammo now that I have such a close place to shoot.
Got some new grips put on the rami I got from BA and ran a couple of mags through it to break in the new backstop. It's quite a lovely little pistol in every respect.
Quick drive by as I am exhausted. Had an extremely great weekend, I have one seriously dirty rifle, mud, dirt, rain.... Alan Alcorn and his wife are some of the absolute best people I have ever met and Revere's Rider's is the real deal, I will be going back.
Good morning folks, time to go back to work. Unfortunately I have to leave work early today to go to the dentist for tooth that's bothering me.
