The thought is appreciated, and was very nearly necessary. Advice to myself was not to give him anything that would give him an advantage in the future. A conviction for battery makes it hard to own guns. If I need to shoot him at some point, I'd rather use the AR10 than a cap and ball revolver.

Appreciate the sentiments about Frisbee the Dog. She'll be missed.

I am having very similar situation with my son. He draws very near getting the butt whipping I have been promising him for a long time now. It is overdo.

VZ Double Diamond in grey and black. The spouse helped me pick the color so they would not make my butt look big.

It's not the grips causing that problem. . .

Thanks to all for the sympathy about my pooch. When we all get together to shoot on the farm in October, I'll tell you how she came to be mine.

Speaking of October. . .I'd really like to have as many as can make it down to visit and shoot some Saturday afternoon this fall. 7th/14th/21st are probably our choices, as Halloween will be big on the 28th. Guess we could have a costume shoot. I'll come as an old man with an old gun.:):
First three weekends have a better chance of better weather. Trees should be pretty. Little Nashville will be hoppin. If we can reach some consensus, I'll schedule a maintenance/vacation day the Friday before.

Down in Indianapolis for the next three days. Have a special lunch meeting at Union Jack's tomorrow with some crazy guy from INGO

Have fun, but be careful. He and BA have forever changed my perception of what's acceptable in firearms to the detriment of my bank accounts. I will start calling them Trigger Buddah's. They know The Way of the trigger! Zen at 3 1/2 pounds. If a sweet 1911 hammer falls at MCFG and the only person around is wearing really good hearing protection, does it make a sound?
