Speaking of new guns, the old Ruger is gone. Can‘t make my mind up what I want next but this is high on my list. Any of you CZickos have any experience with these or the standard TX22?

edit: they have a promotion currently as well

I have the original one. Got it from T-dogg and put then put a VQ trigger in it. I'd have to say its a toss up between it and the P322 for best poly 22. Preference gave the nod to the P322 for me.

    In the country, hopefully.
Turbo had a CZ527 in 7.62x39 with the set trigger. I should have bought it when he moved it along. Sigh....

Had a gorgeous tiger striped stock.

IMnsHO any 527 in any caliber are worth having. Each caliber you mention has a different sets of characteristics. I see no other option but to buy all three....if you can find them.
Appreciate your opinion, humble or not!
    The wife might not.
Keeping my eyes open for 527….

I have a standard TX-22 and also picked up a TX-22 compact. I put a Holosun 407kx2 on the compact. Really like the tx-22's. Haven't tried the Competition model.

    I "think" @zachcz had a competition model.

Thanks. Thinking I want something optics ready that I could use for steel challenge or something. I have the P-07 Kadet which is a lot of fun and a great plinker and I suppose I could get it milled, but…

Bottom line is I want something new and shinny, all my firearm “needs” are currently met. I have some $$ in the gun fund. No desire/need for another carry pistol (have toyed with a pocket pistol such as S&W 640 or Ruger LCR in 38 special but having shot small 38s don’t think I would enjoy one at the range). Considered a full size 357 revolver range toy (there is a Dan Wesson 15 in the classies or a Ruger GP100 Match champion). Also thought about a 75 BD (my LGS has a 75 omega currently in my budget), maybe getting a P-01, adding cajun goodies and milling it for a dot but again I could always just mill my PCR. Nothing rifle wise in my sights currently. Not interested in a double stack or other 1911 currently, my Springer is enough for me.

A nice 22 target pistol a want, but certainly not a need.

I had a real poser tonight .... a blue bottle fly ! The evening light was good, and I've rigged-up a small led light to enhance the lighting.

Man. . . . it has been a day. Good part is Barb's car is fixed and we managed to have lunch at Noble Romans. (Deep dish sicilian) The toilet has new guts. And I killed one more wire chewing squirrel tonight. (The reason Barb's fuel pump quit). Spent a lot of wasted time waiting around which galls me to no end but all in all it was ok.

DDS was my favorite pizza from there when we lived closer to civilization.

    Morning all... :coffee:

I'll echo what the others have said, the TX-22 series of pistols is fantastic. I have the original TX-22 and the compact. I enjoy them both but like the compact the best, as it's optics ready. My buddy liked both when I let him shoot them, but ended up with the competition model and I got to try it as well and it was also great. The compact and competition are both optics ready. The compact is small and very light, where the competition is much larger and very heavy in comparison. Both are great guns.
