Getting around to posting some pics.
Actually got this on Saturday, after ordering mid day on Friday, so super quick delivery.
I actually ordered this knife with a different set of textured scales, but received it with the black scales. Not a big deal and @Edged Tools was very quick to follow up and worked with me to make all that right.

He also helped me in the whittling down process (pun intended) of what I was looking for, and just was super responsive on both pre, during and after sale discussion.

I'd definitely look to order from him again when I'm checking out more knives and suspect that will be sooner than later.

I only bring in the above to say that the pics aren't super impressive (especially quickly taken on my cell) compared to the function of this knife, which seems outstanding so far.

I never did post a photo of the radio stealth install in my truck, so here they are. The goal was to have comms but not to attract too much attention.

When not in use, the head unit pops off, as does the mic. The main radio sits under the drivers seat.

I'm in the same boat Carlos. Nothing new for a while as my money has other priorities.
On the other hand, I've spent the last two evenings looking at used cars online (Mustang, Camaro, Challenger) and figured out what I want is $25k - $30k with a 7.49% interest rate. :faint:

I think I'll just buy a Staccato instead.

Got home tonight and took my CM pro-tec to the basement been having a hard time getting it sharp. Clamped in the vise with a leather strap and a few strokes with three grits of diamond stone and a little time on the Arkansas stone, a strop or three and, Voila! Bare patch on my arm.
    Happy camper , I am.
The skill to properly sharpen a knife still eludes me. I need to figure that one out one of these days

This XDM is interesting in that it's in stock up here at SW and comes with the gear up package that includes a total of 6 mags. And it's optics ready.

$629 plus tax and I have a coupon and points that will get me $54 off that. I had an XDM in .40 years ago and liked it, except for a stiff mag release (maybe something else, can't remember?). High bore axis, stupid grip safety, yada yada yada.

Did you put your greasy meat hooks on one?
If so how does it feel compared to the S&W 10mm?
Right now for my next polymer 10mm buy it's down to S&W or the XDME 10mm.
I just haven't found a XDME 10mm to handle yet to make my decision.
