It's sad to see CZ slide into the American business mindset. That is, chase short term profit to improve today's shareholder value at the expense of long term viability and strength. It's amazing how much damage just a few of the wrong people at senior levels can do to an organization.

I did a range trip with Tarzan today. It was a great day to hang out with a friend while exercising ARs at up to 400yds.

Did some bullet casting today in addition to the firewood cutting, afternoon was hotter than I had expected.

Heat indexes have been over 110 since the beginning of June here. It’s been a miserable summer, and no end in sight. Pond is down probably 4 feet, and no rain in the forecast. No dead fish yet, so that’s a positive.

June was rough down here. The 12th through the 15th we had major storms everyday. Baseball size hail, and winds pushing 100mph.

It was in the 90’s then, with jungle humidity. It’s been over 100 since about July 1st, and no relief in the near future.

Good news from all the weather is, I now have a new roof, and a new hood on my truck.

I enjoyed it even though recent changes to my AR10 inadvertantly turned it into a single shot rifle. The BSF CF barrel showed real accuracy potential.

After doing some housework, I got out to Southwestway park and did some hiking. Felt really, really good, but it really wore me out. Hopefully I'll sleep good tonight.

Got some minor housework done, now need to go to the grocery store, then get ready for church. Afterwards I'll need to get some cardboard dropped off to be recycled and then decide if I want to mow, or wait until Tuesday when it's supposed to be cooler.

I vote Tuesday.

Pew'ed again yesterday. How dare I do back-to-backs. Function tested the 1903. Cycles smooth as Jif. Brewing up a cool idea for a wall hanger project for it. Just need a stripper(?!) and a bayonet.
